To promote Contagion, Steven Soderbergh's movie about a global viral pandemic, fungi and bacteria was applied to giant petri dishes. Over the course of five days, the microbes grew from nearly invisible to reveal, eerily, the title of the movie. Typeface: Helvetica Neue 97 Black Condensed.
