Chartwell was born out of a frustration with creating graphs in Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator. In the format of a font, OpenType ligatures are utilized to interpret text and create charts. Just enter a string of numbers, switch the font to Chartwell and it snaps into a graph. Each style exists as a separate font file, and can be quickly changed using the font menu, just as with a bold or italic variant. Since the graphs are still in 'text' form, they remain editable, allowing for painless updates.
