Every handlettered Kanji on this 24 x 18 silk-screen print details the Japanese cities that were affected during Eastern Japan's great earthquake disaster on March 11, 2011. The lettering, reading from right to left, and red overlay form the Japanese flag—symbolizing the coexistence of destruction and unity of the country and its people. I signed and numbered the LE print and accompanied it with a supplementary print showing the equivalent English translations. SOGO Japan is the donor advised fund I started that is now attached to the 501c3. The printer was The Half and Half.
