Alana was designed with the goal of achieving the look of handlettering through the confines of typeface design. Based on original lettering using a pointed nib pen, Alana retains its hand drawn natural look and feel, closely resembling custom lettering through the addition of 300 plus alternate and swash letters. Sixty-two ornaments were designed especially for this typeface.
