Good Day CA is a series of self-initiated postcards created as a visual memoir of my recent cross country transition from Midwest to West. Inspired by hand-painted signage, aged road signs and vintage Hollywood, the project explores typography, wordplay and aesthetic through a series of greetings in which the content is extracted from personal experience and anything related to this newfound landscape. The challenge from the onset was to connect each greeting through content or imagery to foster a visual narrative and a continuous message. 68 cards, 8 1/2 x 5 1/2, 4-color.
