The oldest bar on San Antonio's Riverwalk is a gritty working-class bar with aspirations, so we designed the logo in quasi-elegant script, inspired by brewers' logotypes of the 19th century and The Esquire's own 1960s-era neon sign. The new logotype is beefier and tidier than the single-stroke neon, but retains some of the idiosyncratic typographical details that make the sign an eccentric icon. Typefaces: Prestige, Trade Gothic.
