An attempt to illustrate the personification of numbers and their associations with gender, color, shape and sound. Each animation was generated by randomly moving light sources and typographic counter-shapes. This technical approach moved away from the conventional aesthetics of animation software to retain a sense of craftsmanship and randomness in the creative process. The result is a distorted reality suggesting the sensorial dizziness of synesthetic perception. Ink on transparent films, 85mm lens.
