This origami-inspired number series was used as chapter breaks in Unfolding the Future, a proposal to the SFO Airport. In keeping with the contents of the proposal, the numerals are meant to celebrate the fine detail and craftsmanship of origami. This design was achieved by generating a custom script which analyzes letterforms and reproduces them using cutout shapes of varying apertures. Imperfections found in handcrafted art were then emulated by introducing randomness in the script. Typeface: ITC Bookman Standard Medium.
