“Just like the original Echo Park location, the Mar Vista Time Travel Mart is an elaborate front for an 826 center that provides tutoring for at-need kids. Employees asked for graphics that would cut down on the harsh sunlight, but still let pedestrians see the store’s interior. We decided to get people’s attention by listing some of our signature time travel products.” Typefaces: Cactus, Herold Western, Mesquite, Stymie.
