“I designed BLIP, a modular alphabet and its dingbats, from a simple and colorful geometric grid. I first printed it on fabric, but I realized that a short motion video would better show all the surprising possibilities. The fresh and fun song ‘Baby Blue’ from the band We Were Evergreen was the perfect soundtrack to let the letters dance on the screen.”
