“This self-promotional mailer is the kind of project I had been dreaming of. At the suggestion of Kristina at Snyder New York, I teamed up with the talented photographer Spencer Heyfron to showcase our respective mediums. Printed on high-quality newsprint, the mailer includes 27 portraits shot on the streets of New York, with the subjects’ quotes and occupations handlettered to reflect their unique personalities. To create the lettering, I used pen, marker, calligraphy, ink and brushes.”
