“My friends Evan Sharp and Christina McBride asked me to help with their wedding invitations. Christina has an interest in history and historical craftsmanship. I showed her the book Mira Calligraphae Monumenta. She immediately fell in love and we had a wonderful jumping-off point for the piece. Jason Holley created the botanical illustration. I created a typeface for the piece which was used extensively throughout all of their wedding materials.”
