“Some of these characters were created for one of my illustrated nursery rhymes. The project was a long-awaited nexus of my different areas of focus: illustration, fine art drawing and handlettering. It was also an extension of a recent chalkboard lettering project. I liked the process so much that I created the whole alphabet as a display font.”
