Our goal for this typeface was to reconstruct the first ten plates of the Arte de Escribir, which are dedicated to the analysis of Italian Script. We strongly believe that these plates reflect the freedom of de la Riva’s calligraphy and are closely related to the style that was a success among Spanish calligraphers.”
