“We interviewed six juveniles held in the Shenyang Detention Center. Their stories were edited into short documentaries. Craftsmen and artists transformed the abusive words that most scarred them into the weapons they used in later years to commit crimes. The final results were exhibited along with renderings of the characters and weapons, both online and in interactive outdoor displays, to provide meaningful insights for parents, teachers and communities.”
