Young Man is part of a series of paintings that I created to help promote the Syracuse University Study Abroad program in India. I spent three weeks traveling through North Central India gathering information for a proposed painting course that would be called Painting and Drawing India. While walking through a small village in Uttar Pradesh, I encountered this young man who was clearly the coolest guy in the village. 28 x 36, oil. © 2007 John Thompson
