The art director wanted me to illustrate the tale of Paul Bunyan for SouthWest Gas Corporation's Annual Report. I love animals, so I chose to concentrate on Babe, the big blue ox. Babe is taking a drink from one of my favorite fishing holes and I'm in the fishing boat. The art director requested a painted title and border which I handled if they were objects in the painting. 12 x 16, oil on paper.
