Sultan of Sweet pays tribute to Jan Lievens. Cedar Block, Milwaukee's premier art function organizers, asked me to participate in 'Lievens On A Jet Plane,' which exhibited at the Milwaukee Art Museum. I was asked to think about someone in my own life who reflects Lievens's subject and create a 21st century portrait in my own style. I painted a portrait of my brother, David. 4 x 6 unframed, acrylic on Masonite.
