Betsy's husband hired me to paint a picture of their friends and family attending her 50th birthday party. My wife is a photographer and the two of us went to the party to take pictures. After consulting with the client about who was who, I created this scene. The biggest challenge was composing a picture that flowed and wasn't merely a row of 27 people. 48 x 16, acrylic.
