Time magazine contacted me about doing a portrait for a special issue devoted to the life and presidency of Franklin D. Roosevelt. I told them I had recently completed a Roosevelt portrait commission for Mr. Wyly, but still retained some rights to the image, which I then licensed to the magazine. 18 x 24, oil on wood panel.
