Bruno, The Child Who Learned to Fly, by Nadia Terranova, is about Bruno Schulz, the distinguished Polish Jewish writer and artist who grew up with a father who was gradually losing his sanity. Bruno, a sensitive child, could recognize and admire his father's brilliant, creative mind and his relationship with him was the source of his inspiration.
