Brushstroke from Code Organa is an app with filters to turn photos into paintings of various styles; you can even purchase a canvas of your finished piece. The concept of the app is creative use of color, so we brainstormed about colorful objects, places and ideas. Once we landed on animals, we played with the illustration of a parrot. The wing lent itself well to a wet paintbrush, and the rest is history!
