"We all know that being a dad is a tough job, but dads don't always get the recognition they deserve. Especially when it comes to Father's Day. So, American Greetings and Mullen Lowe U.S. decided to go ahead and actually do something about it. Following up on our Mother's Day campaign, we decided to put out a real casting call for actors to play the role of Dad in a commercial. Unsuspecting actors were immediately thrust into challenging, real-life situations, and only the supporting cast knew what was really going on. Through a combination of impossible-to-answer questions and unexpected, awkward scenarios, the Dad actors' lackluster performances demonstrated what a great job real dads do every day with absolutely no script."
