"In America, millions of food pictures are posted daily on social media while 49 million people struggle with hunger. #FoodPicStrike was the first social media initiative to ask people to stop posting pictures of food and to use Instagram to share support for Great Nations Eat instead. Simply take a picture of the napkin and share it on Instagram under the hashtag #FoodPicStrike. One dollar was donated for every participant, and the campaign helped turn a social behavior into awareness of all the hungry Americans."
