“This lettering was created as section separators for the 2015 Milwaukee 99 Awards Show book for the United Adworkers. The Milwaukee 99 asks agencies of all sizes in the Milwaukee area to enter their best work from the past year, and it is judged by top creatives from around the country. Since the show has an industrial theme—awards are shaped like nuts and wrenches—we used roughed-up hand lettering interwoven with industrial nuts to tie into the blue-collar look and feel.”
