“In conjunction with the opening of Eight O Five, a new residential high-rise at LaSalle and Chicago, patron Bill Smith commissioned Thirst to create a collection of 90 unique 36 x 48 art prints titled A to $. Three prints are permanently displayed in each of the 30 elevator lobbies using alphabetical order as an identification and creative restraint. To commemorate the work, a keepsake boxed set of all 90 letters was printed by Classic Color.”
