“Leading up to the 2016 presidential election, Google made a strong push for voter registration among college students. We designed more than 500 unique, culturally relevant stickers that were distributed across college campuses nationwide. Some of these designs were also animated into short looping GIFs that could be typed as emojis on the GBoard, Google’s keyboard, using a mobile device. The goal was to make voting look cool and to give millennials something to brag about after registering to vote—and voting.”
