“Grain Belt is known as the friendly beer. To leverage this, we created the DualPour, a device that enables people to easily do something friendly: share a beer. We designed several prototypes before landing on the final product: a simple red cap with two spouts that attaches to the top of a beer can. To launch the DualPour, we promoted it as a Valentine’s Day gift and encouraged people to skip the teddy bears and chocolates to give their significant others what they really want: half of their beers.”
