“Hungerford Hill matured its 2013 Shiraz in new French and American oak barriques for eighteen months prior to selecting only seven for bottling. This attention to the vigneron’s, or winemaker’s, craft inspired us to bring the maturing process to the bottle. Stencil typography is regularly seen on wine barrels, so we elevated this style and stamped our more elegant version across a real wood substrate, using a silver foil to add drama. The wooden label, made from real timber laminated to adhesive for printing and bottle application, is a print innovation.”
