“Engaging the nation’s youth to get out and vote is no easy task. Leading up to the heated 2016 presidential election, Google reached out to have us design a grassroots initiative promoting voter registration among young college students and first-time millennial voters. We designed more than 500 stickers for the #Iregistered initiative, which were distributed across universities and college campuses nationwide. Young voters wore the light-hearted stickers as a badge of honor for registering to vote. Then, closer to election day, we changed the messaging to #Ivoted and released a slew of quick animated illustrations that were incorporated into the virtual keyboard app Gboard and made shareable on social media channels like Instagram and Snapchat.”
