“I created a visual identity for the Finnish Association of Architects’s Architectural Days 2019 event. The theme was Kuri ja järjestys (Discipline and Order), referring to the recent public discussion of the boxy architecture in Finland, among other things. The branding makes use of the Fit typeface, with its strong rhythm that resembles a condensed city; it makes the words kuri (discipline) and järjestys (order) look like brutalist architecture, which has block-like forms and raw concrete construction.”
