“For Block, a design and culture magazine based in Toronto. I was asked to come up with an illustration of an imaginary infill project, as though I had an empty lot between two buildings in an urban context, which I could fill with anything I liked. It didn’t have to be the slightest bit feasible, so I created large stairs and a slide. The entire scene was my imaginary creation, including the two buildings on each side of the stairs.”
