“Sleepless on the Silk Road was commissioned for the cover of Uncanny Magazine’s 20th issue. For this project, the art directors gave me full rein to paint whatever I wanted as long as it possessed an air of fantasy. I saw this as the perfect opportunity to paint my first-ever unicorn, along with this fearless rider.”
