“Nike+ changed running forever. We aimed to maximize the brand’s engagement with new customers and Nike’s global community of quantified runners by designing a multitouch retail experience that augments the Nike+ phenomenon. Taking advantage of the Nike+ community’s data, we leveraged unique running routes and behaviors to transform real-time running data—in particular, geographies—into an interactive digital experience called the Community Board. Customers from Paris, London, Berlin, Barcelona, Madrid, Amsterdam, Stockholm, Milan and New York were able to interact with the maps and see how Nike connects a real-time community of local runners.”
