“Choreographer Matthew Bourne’s rendition of the classic ballet Swan Lake for the Dance spotlight in The New Yorker. The postures and costumes of the dancers created a dramatic composition, not unlike the ballet itself. I wanted to show the depth of the stage as well as the performers, hence the receding figures and details.”
