“During our residency in Seoul, we were asked to design a steel installation for Ilsan Lake Park in Goyang, South Korea. During the first week of our residency, we had been commissioned to make flags for the MMCA Changdong entrance, and we made a design spelling out the word Spieltrieb (play instinct). Drawing from these flags, we translated the word into spatial steel ‘posters.’ It was installed permanently among trees in the park.”
