“I’ve always admired Malinda Reich’s ceramic work and invited her to come to the studio so we could play with some of her latest pieces. After studying them for a while prior to our scheduled date, I recognized textures and shapes that reminded me of food items. We spent the day combining her pieces with waffles, radishes, olives, garlic, crackers, dried beans and a few other items to create arranged compositions.”
