“From a personal series where I taped different vegetables to my wife, Anica. The fact that this is my wife, and that she let me do this—more than once—is really cool. This is a perfect example of the type of work I like to create when I’m left to my own devices. I am very drawn to creating images that are lighthearted and visually pretty, but might make someone look twice or even feel bizarre.”
