Everybody Skate, both a personal work and commissioned work for the New York Times’s article titled “The New Skaters” by Jazmine Hughes. “This body of work highlights female and nonbinary skateboarders in New York City. I started this project in 2018 when I began to notice more women and nontraditional skaters getting on boards. When I was growing up, skateboarding was a very male-dominated space, so it has been exciting to see that changing at the skatepark.”
