The New Yorker, client

“I was asked to illustrate a review of David Lowery’s film A Ghost Story for The New Yorker. From what I knew at the time—having not been able to see the movie yet—it was about a husband who dies, becomes a classic white-sheet ghost and haunts the house where he and his wife once lived for all of time. I wanted to evoke the movie’s quiet mood and the idea of time passing and repetition.”
