“Sake consumers have grown tired of traditional art labels in Japan. Introduced when sales were sluggish, this new label for Sake-Show Yamada’s Yamagata encourages consumers to enjoy an aged cold sake. The character in the middle is the kanji for ‘mountain’ in Japanese; we’ve put the character on the entire label surface so that the product can be easily understood.”
