“My personal work Tear Fuel is based on my emotions. There were many rainy days at the end of spring in London, and I saw flower petals flowing away in the rain. This made me moody: The flowers bloom for a month but die away quickly in this seasonal shift. Like many beautiful things, they cannot last long. But just like our tears when we feel sad, the spring rain is a fuel that makes plants grow faster and stronger, just as tears do for us.”
