“This was one of my first photo sessions for Vanity Fair. Photo editor Michael Kramer and I collaborated closely to develop a concept that highlighted the architectural elements of Capitol Hill, with pillars framing The Squad. We had just ten minutes to capture the shot, and as soon as we finished, a storm rolled in.”
