“I crafted Menhart-Antiqua Revival, a digital revival of Oldřich Menhart’s 1960 typeface for foundry Bauersche Giesserei, as part of my master’s in type design at the École cantonale d’art de Lausanne. Developed to reflect my parallel practice in type design alongside graphic work, this project involved extensive historical research and was based on high-resolution scans sourced from the Museum of Work in Hamburg, Germany.”
