“‘What will it take to truly thrive in space? How can we make the Moon feel like home?’ ‘Life Beyond Earth’ is an immersive film created in collaboration with the Chicago-based architectural firm Skidmore, Owings & Merrill (SOM) and the European Space Agency (ESA) for their powerful installation at the 17th Venice Architectural Biennale. We were able to work closely with the SOM team, ESA and narrator Jeffrey A. Hoffman, an AeroAstro professor at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and former NASA astronaut, to elevate the film into not only an engaging visual spectacle but a true glimpse into the future.”
