Magazine cover. "For years I kept a number of Bonsai trees and held a strange fascination for them. I've gradually killed nearly all of them over the years, but still keep a nice Japanese Maple. My interest in them was expressed in the small, bonsai-like bush where the bird sits. Someone once commented that it looks like a giant bird rather than a small tree. I went with it anyway."
