"After doing 35 Daffy's ads that all had headlines, I challenged the creative team to do a few ads that had no headline, just visuals. The neck ties was one solution. The other was a side-by-side comparison of two mannequins wearing identical dresses. One dress cost much less. The higher-priced mannequin was missing an arm and a leg. I think the creatives rose to the occasion."
