"It was almost a year, post 9-11. While much of the flag-waving and patriotic vibe had faded, we produced this ad, along with an accompanying billboard. After they ran, overwhelming turnout at collection sites around Southeastern Wisconsin forced the Blood Center to ask people to come back at another time when the lines weren't so long."
