TV spot for Xelibri. "When phones enter the world of fashion, the advertising has to do likewise, but with its tongue firmly in its cheek. Introducing a world of the future where dancing is illegal, everyone looks the same, and Xelibri is everywhere—'That’s So Tomorrow.’""Face of the Future": 90(This commercial is set in the near future. Everyone now has the same face– young, old, male female. Open on a busy street. We see a sign that shows a dancing figure with a big red cross through it, that reads ‘DANCING IS ILLEGAL.’ Now we see a man making his way through the crowds. He pulls along with him a fake dog. He walks in front of the dancing sign and stops. By turning the dog’s ear he turns it into a boom box. He turns on his music, and starts a magnificent dance. There is a sign on the dog which reads ‘LET’S DANCE.’ A young girl points at him and screams. Her mother moves to shield her face. Other people start to scream and try to escape the scene. We see a security camera zooming in on the man. It reads ‘SECTOR 16.SFX: An alarm sounds.(Our hero stops dancing and disappears into the crowd.The mother immediately calls the police on her no.2 X-phone )Mother:Police!(Cut to a futuristic police station. Everyone has the same face. A policewoman answers the mother's call on her no.3 X-phone. On the policewoman’s computer screen we see the security camera footage appear. She enlarges the footage until it becomes a graphic image of the man’s face)Policewoman:Yes! Mother:He’s dancing…Policewoman:I can see him. Alarm!(Cut to exterior of the police station. We see an image of our hero's face projected onto the exterior of the police station. Under the image a huge sign reads ‘DANCE ALERT’)Policeman 1: Go go go!!!(Another policewoman is chatting and drinking coffee)Policeman 2:Let’s go!Policewoman:(mid conversation)…….like a madman…(The HQ alarm interrupts her chat and she runs off to help. We see our hero running, passing a sign which reads ‘Airport Shuttle.’ Cut to a futuristic city street. There are ‘WANTED’ posters featuring the dancer’s image on trees and lamp posts everywhere. We see one poster as it’s pinned to a TV shop window. It reads ‘WANTED. DANCE CRIME.' We see one of the TVs in the window. There is a news flash showing the security camera footage of the dancing man. People watching reel back from the window in horror)Newsreader (V/O): A young man was spotted dancing in a public place just minutes ago. This digital composite was rendered……(Cut to an airport shuttle bus. Our hero is among the passengers, keeping his head down. The driver has the evening paper on his dashboard. The dancer's image is on the front page. The headline reads ‘WANTED. FOR DANCE CRIME’Newsreader (V/O): …any person spotted fitting this description should be reported immediatel.y(Looking in his rear view mirror the shuttle driver sees, and recognizes our man. The driver pulls his no.1 X-phone out of his shirt pocket and nervously makes a call.Driver: I think he may be ……..(Back at the police station someone answers the call. (Same policewoman as before with No. 3.)Policewoman: Yes. Right…To the airport!(At the airport the customs officials are giving their standard nonchalant look at passports, then at the face of the owner, then waving them through. We see a ‘DEPARTURES’ sign.There is a big queue. We see signs saying ‘KONTROL POINT.’Suddenly an alarm sounds and a white screen appears behind the queue– creating an environment not unlike a police lineup.The police bring the mother and daughter up to the queue. We pan along the line. All the nervous faces are the same.The daughter stops at No. 4. She points and nods her head)Daughter: There he is! There he is!(Wildly protesting his innocence, the man is taken away by the police)Man: No, I didn’t do nothing...it’s not me, I swear I didn’t do it….Nooo...Policeman3: Come on you, shut up, come on.(Cut to the security x-ray machine. We see our hero's dog come through on the conveyor belt. Fade to black. Now we are outside at a Hawaiian airport (airplanes are landing). Our hero, dog in hand, walks down the plane's steps into a traditional welcome of Hawaiian girls, garlands of flowers and music. He starts to dance with them. We know that dance. He holds his X-phone in his hand as he dances)TITLE: XELIBRI. THAT’S SO TOMORROW. (End on the X-phone logo and images of the four phones)
