"Field's Sweet Spot is the nostalgic candy destination of department store Marshall Field's. The vernacular (a nod to the mod '60s) is equal parts fashion and fantasy, a concoction that combines both the department's retro-candy product selection and fashion driven branding efforts of Marshall Field's itself. Classic iconographic candy (like the candy necklace) mixed with high fashion themes and references creates a playful aesthetic is created that appeals to children and the store's female core customer alike. The centerpiece of the store's interior is the ceiling, upon which float two large feminine figures; one blowing a bubble-gum bubble, and the other opening a box of chocolates that appears to rain down onto the customers below. Packaging for a line of Field's Sweet Spot branded mini chocolate coated candies, and for a branded line of assorted chocolates, inspired by mod '60s geometric wallpaper."
